Davidson is making good use of federal stimulus funds by expanding their greenway network. Great to see towns using money to improve the quality of life of their residents. More greenways = safer places to walk and ride = more conducive to bikes as transportation = connected community = healthier community. Way to go Davidson! Read about it here
I’m really excited to announce our new team for 2010! We’ve partnered with Gary Fisher and Subaru to put together a regional team that will compete in road and mountain events all over the southeast. We’re also getting support from Jon Meek from Carolina Realty Advisors, Stafford, Bontrager, SRAM, Hincapie, DeFeet, KMC chains and Classic Cycling. The team is made up of elite level racers; cat 1’s and 2’s on the road and expert mountain bikers, and rounded out on the road with masters, cat 3’s, 4’s and 5’s as well as super sport and sport mountain bikers. The bike of choice will be the Cronus on the road and the Superfly on the trail. Check out what Gary himself has to say about the new Cronus and Superfly 100.

Had a great night ride last night at Poplar with Noel and Jason. Trail was in great shape…a little tacky! It doesn’t get much better than chasing Noel around in the dark on a ss…fighting his dogs for position on the trail! Thinking of making it a weekly ride, if you want to night ride give the shop a call and we’ll tell you when the next planned one is.
We had a great showing this past weekend at the Tree Shaker. CBC racers lined up in 5 different categories and finished on the podium in all 5!
